Over the years, I’ve often found myself helping visitors enjoy Aruba with more confidence.
Whether it was recommending food, answering questions, or pointing someone toward something they would not have found alone, I realized how much I love helping people experience the island well.
That same care is what I bring to Aruba Curated.
Aruba Curated began with a question I could not stop asking:
Why is Aruba the way it is today?
That curiosity led me into Aruba’s history, immigration, food, and culture — and helped me see my island with new eyes.
Now I love sharing that story with others in a way that feels personal, visual, and memorable.
I created Aruba Curated to offer the kind of experience I would hope to find when visiting somewhere new.
Thoughtful. Genuine. Well researched.
My goal is not to show you everything.
It is to help you discover the things that are truly worth your time — and that stay with you long after your trip.
Like many visitors, I noticed that some of the most interesting questions about Aruba rarely received satisfying answers.
Why do Arubans speak Papiamento?
How did people from so many different places help shape the island we know today?
Those questions led me into years of research into Aruba's history, immigration, culture, and food traditions.
The more I learned, the more I realized that food tells the story of Aruba better than almost anything else.
Aruba Curated was created to share that story in a way that is engaging, memorable, and deeply connected to the island's reality.
Every recommendation, tasting, and experience is intentionally selected rather than assembled from a standard tourist checklist.
Food becomes more meaningful when you understand where it came from and how it became part of Aruba's culture.
Experiences are built on historical research, local insight, and genuine curiosity rather than recycled tourism facts.
